Join the LA 3-D Club for an outing to see an IMAX 3-D double feature at the California Science Center on Saturday, June 11, 2011. We’ll be seeing Arabia 3D at 10:30 am, followed by Born to Be Wild 3D at 11:30 am.
Arabia 3D is “a sweeping portrait of the history, culture and religion of the Arabian Peninsula, Arabia 3D is a mix of contemporary scenes of modern-day Arabian life, epic historical recreations of ancient civilizations and stunning digital visual effects.”
Born to Be Wild 3D “is an inspiring story of love, dedication and the remarkable bond between humans and animals. This film documents orphaned orangutans and elephants and the extraordinary people who rescue and raise them—saving endangered species one life at a time.”
We plan to meet in front of the IMAX theater at 10:00 am to purchase tickets. Both films run approximately 45 minutes. For those interested, we will grab some lunch at a local restaurant (to be determined) to discuss the movies around 12:30 pm.
