Due to the worldwide public health emergency, upcoming physical meetings of the LA 3-D Club have been suspended. However, we are holding virtual meetings and we’re still holding our scheduled competitions.
Hollywood Exhibition and Online Holiday Party
The December virtual meeting of the LA 3-D Club will take place on Thursday, December 17 from 7:00pm – 8:30pm.
The meeting will open with a club member “Holiday Show-and-Tell.” We would love to see your favorite Christmas 3-D image, or holiday themed stereoscopic item. Member’s are encouraged to share an item of interest with the rest of the attendees.
Our online party will feature the premiere showing of the 60th Hollywood International Stereo Exhibition. The Hollywood Exhibition is a photography contest sanctioned by PSA (meaning acceptances and awards count towards PSA star ratings and other honors). This year, there were a total of 52 entrants,who submitted 206 total images, 90 of which were accepted. We will present a program of all accepted images, and announce the winners of the special category and top awards. Exhibition Chair, Andrew Parke extends a special thanks to this year’s judges, Buzz Hays, Max Penner, and Matt Blute. We invite all Hollywood Exhibition photographers to join us in the Zoom meeting to celebrate with our members and talk about their photos.
