DOWNTOWN FILM FESTIVAL

   Roger Mayer, of the Downtown Film Festival - Los Angeles - 2009, has invited the 3-D Movie/Video division of the SCSC to showcase the work of outstanding independent 3-D film-makers at a special screening to be held at the Downtown Independent Theater, 251 S. Main St., Los Angeles 90012, on Tuesday, August 18, beginning at 7:30.  The DFFLA, formerly known as the Silver Lake Film Fest, has never included a 3-D component before, and Roger and other festival organizers are excited about our involvement.  The 3-D Movie/Video Division has also participated in the Big Bear Lake Festival for the past two years.

   Approximately two hours of award-winning content will be shared on August 18, followed by a panel discussion which will focus on how to make your own 3-D movies.  The panel of Movie Division celebrities will be chaired by Ray Zone.  Particulars about the DFFLA may be found on the website www.dffla.com., however, at the time of this posting, the website had not been updated to include our involvement.
