The February meeting of the LA 3-D Club will take place on Thursday, February 15 from 7:00pm – 9:30pm at the Velaslavasay Panorama, 1122 W 24th St, Los Angeles, CA 90007

It’s Valentine’s Day and Love is in the air! We encourage everyone to bring their favorite Valentine and Love themed 3-D items and images to share in the members’ “Show-and-tell”. We will still be limited to the smaller screen, as the Panorama is working on their new exhibit, so bring your favorite stereoscopes – Card Viewers, Stereo Realist View-Master, etc. for a “Share-And-Tell.”

Our speaker this month, club member Telly Lopez-Fu will demonstrate the new CALF PROFESSIONAL  6K 3D180 VR camera. “Hello 3D club! I just signed on to represent a new VR camera currently called the ViewPT and I’d love to demo it at the the next club meeting! It films 6K50fps, live VR streaming,SBS 3D video, and SBS3D photos. The awesome thing about this camera is that equirectangular projection is handled in camera, saving the operator post-production time. Can’t wait to show it off and take pre-orders if anyone is interested!”

VR180 director and producer, Telly Lopez-Fu, has been professionally involved in the VR space since 2017. Upon learning about the renewed potential of VR in 2015, Telly made the decision to leave his salaried position to delve into this new and evolving medium. After years of building, testing, and learning, Telly leveraged his two decades of experience in business and product development in the adult industry to create award-winning, fan-favorite experiences. These experiences captivate viewers while also providing demonstrable ROI for his clients in this challenging new medium.

Also on the program, we will watch another show from the Buffalo 3D-Con Stereo Theater!

<h2>Moe’s 3-D Photography</h2>
Presented for the first time by 3-D SPACE, the museum of 3-D in Los Angeles! The almost-lost 3-D slides, taken by Moe Howard, the Three Stooges’ ringleader. In 1951, Moe took his Stereo Realist camera on the road and shot several rolls of slide film. After he mounted them, he locked them away with his other Three Stooges and family souvenirs. After he passed away in 1975, his daughter, Joan Howard Maurer, stored them in her attic, until the Moe Howard Personal collection was put up for auction in 2019.
We also encourage everyone to bring their favorite 3-D movie memorabilia to share in the members’ “Show-and-tell”.
We will also watch a collection of 3-D movie trailers for exciting upcoming feature motion pictures and recent releases.
Plus we’ll have a few extra surprises!
