Monsterpalooza is returning to Burbank, March 27-29th, and once again the LA 3-D Club is presenting a classic 3-D horror film for attendees.
This year we will be showing the 1953 Warner Bros. feature, House of Wax, directed by Andre DeToth and starring Vincent Price. The movie tells the story of a sculptor, disfigured in a fire, who seeks his revenge and fabricates wax figures from his victims. It was the first color 3-D feature from a major American studio and the first 3-D film with stereophonic sound to be presented in a regular movie theater.
The film will be introduced by Victoria Price, Vincent Price’s daughter.
The screening is open to all Saturday attendees of Monsterpalooza, and is included with admission to the convention. For tickets and information, visit monsterpalooza.com
