4th Competition of the 2016-2017 Year
The next regular meeting of the LA 3-D Club will be Thursday, March 16, 7:15-9:45pm at the Armory Center For the Arts 145 N. Raymond, Pasadena, CA 91103.
The evening will include the 4th competition of the LA 3-D Club 2016-2017 year. The special theme for this month is ARMORED. Club members may enter their images into the competition by using the uploader.
In addition to the competition, we will hold a showing of the 5th International 3Ds Contest Vienna 2016, a still photography contest held in Austria. The Photographische Gesellschaft, (PHG), founded in Vienna in 1861, is the longest-standing photographic society in the German-speaking countries and the second-oldest in the world. It was founded on 22 March 1861 by Anton Georg Martin at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna. The Sektion Stereo of the Photographische Gesellschaft in Wien gegründet 1861 (phg) promotes the art, the joy and Knowlege of Stereoscopy. It organizes international competitions and 3D Stereo 3D festivals. 3D photographers from around the world are invited to participate.
We’ll also take a look at Takashi Sekitani’s latest hyperstereo fireworks video “Fireworks With Love Song.”
And we’ll have a demonstration of the recently added features in Masuji Sutos’s STEREO PHOTO MAKER to work with 360 3-D photos for VR.
