MAY MEETING & 3-DIY Open Screen – 2pm SUNDAY MAY 15th, 2016

The LA 3-D CLUB will hold it’s monthly meeting on Sunday, May 15th, 2016, 2-6pm, AT THE DOWNTOWN INDEPENDENT THEATER. Please note this change in time and venue due to the LA 3-D CLUB’s participation in MAKER FAIRE in San Mateo, CA on the third Thursday.
5th Competition of the 2015-2016 Year
3-DIY Open Screen
In addition to the competition, 3-D SPACE will hold it’s quarterly “3-DIY Open Screen”. We invite you to bring your own stereoscopic video on hard drive, flash drive or optical drive to add to the potluck of 3-D content. We are able to play many file based formats – avi, wmv, xvid, mov, h264, Proshow exe, etc., and most 3-D formats – parallel, cross-view, over/under, L/R dual streams, etc. at resolutions up to 1080p HD (with some bandwith limitations). In addition we have the capability to play blu-ray discs and DCI compliant digital cinema packages (DCPs). NOTE: FOR DCP SCREENING PLEASE EMAIL 3D@3-DSPACE.org IN ADVANCE TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR INGESTING FILES. Caveat – while we will do our best to play all content we receive, we make no guarantees, as there are so many file variables to deal with. Content is shown on a “first come, first served” basis, time permitting (sign in at the theater).
