The Downtown Independent Theater
Los Angeles, CA
March 16, 2011 – 2 SHOWS – 8:00 and 9:30
Emmy-winning writer Eric Drysdale (‘The Daily Show,’ ‘The Colbert Report’) launches “The Man with F.E.E.E.T.,” a new 3-D comedy-adventure for View-Master viewers, with two shows at the Downtown Independent. To purchase tickets for $20 online: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/159559
Jack Strider is the ordinary man called to extraordinary action when he becomes steward to the most powerful pair of loafers in the world — known as ‘F.E.E.E.T.’ (Footwear-based Electronically Engineered Emulation Technology.) When the team catches the trail of a nefarious beach ball mogul, they are led to a confrontation with a deadly weapons smuggler with whom Jack has tangled before.
The ‘view-along’ staged reading will feature L.A. comedy favorites providing a live audio soundtrack as audience members follow the action in their own View-Master viewers. There will also be comedy bits, a horn section, and lots of free-floating nonsense. (The viewer and reels, a $25 value, are included with the ticket price.)
Narrated by Ron Lynch
With Matt Walsh, Adam Felber, Eddie Pepitone, Amber Nelson and Andree Vermeulen.
Live improvised soundtrack by Alex Burke
