On Sunday, April 22, the LA 3-D Club will hold a “3-DIY Open Screen”. We invite you to bring your own stereoscopic video on hard drive, flash drive or optical drive, to add to the potluck of 3-D content. We are able to play many file based formats – avi, wmv, xvid, mov, h264, Proshow exe, etc., and most 3-D formats – parallel, cross-view, over/under, L/R dual streams, etc. at resolutions up to 1080p HD (with some bandwith limitations). In addition we have the capability to play DCI compliant digital cinema packages (DCPs). Caveat – while we will do our best to play all content we receive, we make no guarantees, as there are so many file variables to deal with. Content is shown on a “first come, first served” basis, time permitting (sign in at the theater).
$5 at the door for current LA3DClub members
$10 at the door for non-members (admission is waived with USC Student ID)
Club members who bring new content to screen get in free. (Content must not have screened at a prior LA 3-D Club event)
3-D Open Screen and Trailer Park

Just wondering, Eric,
Can I bring a data DVD with AVI or WVM files of my two short pieces for the open projector night? Both are 720p. Will that work with your setup. I can also bring an SD flash drive. Both pieces HOOPLA! (4:44) and TRUST IN LOVE (W3 music video 4:00) are also on my 3D YouTube channel “FRANKE3D”. Sounds like a lot of fun downtown on the 22nd. Both of my “stars” want to come to their “big screen premieres”.
