Club Outing: Brewery ArtWalk on Saturday, April 25th at 12pm

The Brewery ArtWalk is a twice annual open studio weekend at the worlds largest art complex. With over 100 participating resident artists, you will have the opportunity to see new works, discover new favorites, speak with the artists and purchase artwork directly from the artists’ studios. There are at least two artists with 3-D projects that will be fun to see as a group.

Club member Jim Payne has a 40-year photography project of 3-D portraits of people in their natural environments. It’s a fascinating journey through the decades, made even more intimate by the use of 3-D. Jim is always adding new photos to his exhibit, so even if you have seen it before, there will be something new.

Debi Cable has been a friend of the 3-D Club for a while now, inviting us to project 3-D at the annual Burning Man Decompression in Los Angeles a couple of times. She also presented a small 3-D black light exhibit at the 2012 3-D Con in Costa Mesa. Debi Cable’s 3D Art Gallery is a large walk-through installation that will transport you to magical worlds. There is a nominal fee for this exhibit ($5 for 2 people for all weekend access).

Come meet up on Saturday, April 25th at 12pm to see some wonderful 3-D art and so much more! We’ll meet in the central area of The Brewery where they set up food court/beer garden. Contact Jodi Kurland with any questions at Outings@LA3DClub.com.
