The February meeting of the LA 3-D Club will take place on Thursday, February 15 from 7:00pm – 9:30pm at the Velaslavasay Panorama, 1122 W 24th St, Los Angeles, CA 90007
It’s Valentine’s Day and Love is in the air! We encourage everyone to bring their favorite Valentine and Love themed 3-D items and images to share in the members’ “Show-and-tell”. We will still be limited to the smaller screen, as the Panorama is working on their new exhibit, so bring your favorite stereoscopes – Card Viewers, Stereo Realist View-Master, etc. for a “Share-And-Tell.”
Our speaker this month, club member Telly Lopez-Fu will demonstrate the new CALF PROFESSIONAL 6K 3D180 VR camera. “Hello 3D club! I just signed on to represent a new VR camera currently called the ViewPT and I’d love to demo it at the the next club meeting! It films 6K50fps, live VR streaming,SBS 3D video, and SBS3D photos. The awesome thing about this camera is that equirectangular projection is handled in camera, saving the operator post-production time. Can’t wait to show it off and take pre-orders if anyone is interested!”
Also on the program, we will watch another show from the Buffalo 3D-Con Stereo Theater!
