June Meeting To Include Virtual Reality Demonstrations
WE RETURN TO THE ARMORY IN PASADENA FOR THE JUNE MEETING
The meeting will showcase demonstrations of Virtual Reality applications using devices such as the Oculus Rift, Samsung GearVR, and Google Cardboard. Members are encouraged to bring their own VR devices and applications to share. There will be a mini-workshop on shooting with the Ricoh Theta 360-degree camera. In addition, we’ll watch the 3-D video of Ian Bickerstaff’s award winning keynote presentation about Sony’s Project Morpheus, from the 2015 Stereoscopic Displays and Applications Conference.
And we’ll round out the evening with a look at some new methods for creating lenticular prints from digital 3-D photos.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
