The March meeting of the LA 3-D Club will take place on Thursday, March 21st from 7:00pm – 9:30pm at the Velaslavasay Panorama, 1122 W 24th St, Los Angeles, CA 90007
The evening will include the 4th competition of the LA 3-D Club year. The special theme for this month is TRIANGLES. Club members may enter their images into the competition by using the UPLOADER which will be available online until 11:59pm on March 20.
The evening will also feature a presentation from visiting stereo photographer Hiroyuki NAKAMURA, who will present his show DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO.
Right after Japan opened the door to the world in the 19th century, Underwood & Underwood sent stereo photographers to Japan. Their “two eyes” caught landscapes, cityscapes, manners, customs, rituals, and daily life in Japan. Today, showing some stereo photographs of “then and now” in Tokyo, Kyoto, and more is to bring you a time trip.
The show was presented at last year’s 2023 ISU World Congress in Tsukuba, Japan.
