The November meeting of the LA 3-D Club will take place on Thursday, November 21st from 7:00pm – 9:30pm at the Velaslavasay Panorama, 1122 W 24th St, Los Angeles, CA 90007
The evening will include the 2nd competition of the LA 3-D Club year. The special theme for this month is PATTERNS. We are working to fix the file UPLOADER – please watch the uploader page for further instructions on how to enter this month’s competition.
The evening will also feature two award winning shows from the 3D-Con 2024 3-D Theater:
The Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser by Eddie and Carol Bowers – a slideshow of their experience on the short lived Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser resort. Winner of the BEST PRESENTATION BY A FIRST TIME PRESENTER award.
Alice in AI-Land by Martin Schub – a very short riff on Alice in Wonderland, using an AI text-to-image program. Winner of the BEST VIDEO-BASED PRESENTATION
The meeting will conclude with a club member “Show-and-Tell.” We would love to see your favorite 3-D images and collectibles. Members are encouraged to share an item of interest with the rest of the attendees. Share you favorite photos, videos, and 3-D items.
