Dave Comeau returns to help people load their images onto the Looking Glass Portrait. Join Dave Comeau once again on bringing even more content into the Looking Glass Portrait. Last October, Dave discussed various methods of preparing images for the Looking Glass Portrait. Dave returns to reprise the session and help people load images onto their devices. Participation is encouraged – please email Dave at dave@phila3d.com before Saturday Sessions Workshop with any images you’d like to see prepared and loaded onto the Portrait. Methods will include:

• How to use the software

• Creating depth maps from stereo pairs

• Modifying depth maps in StereoPhoto Maker

• Modifying depth maps in GIMP

• Preparing lenticular “light field” images

• AND MUCH MORE!

You do not need to own a Looking Glass to attend. Many of the techniques and concepts discussed can be used for creation of traditional lenticular images or stereo pairs. Please send images, so we have a variety of art to work on!

3) Install the HoloPlay Service and connect your Looking Glass to the Mac/PC via HDMI and USB. In the task bar, you will see the icon, and it should say “1 device connected”.
