Come join the LA 3-D Club and 3-D SPACE for a screening of Flashback Memories 3D, a music documentary by Tetsuaki Matsue featuring Japanese didgeridoo player GOMA at the Downtown Indepedent on Sunday, April 10th at 5pm. From the Downtown Independent website:
After suffering traumatic brain injury in a car accident, the only thing GOMA can remember is how to play his instrument. When blowing the didge, flashes of his life appear and help him piece together his shattered identity. Directed by Tetsuaki Matsue, this music documentary features an electronic dance music soundtrack punctuated by 3D animation sequences.
Legendary movie producer Roger Corman called the film Flashback Memories “Continuously entertaining,” and the Hollywood Reporter said the film was “A groovy and stirring fusion of stomping electronica-driven world music and personal insights.”
Come out and support indepedent 3-D filmmaking! We’ll gather for discussion after the movie at Pitfire Pizza.
If you aren’t able to join us on Sunday, please try to catch the film which will be playing through April 14th.
