The SCSC 2010 Awards Banquet Happens August 19th!

Come join us for an evening of fun, fellowship and fine French food at our annual SCSC Awards Banquet on Thursday August 19. The banquet will be held at TAIX Restaurant, 1911 W. Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles (Silver Lake / Echo Park area).
In addition to our new 4 course menu, including your entree choice of Coc au Vin, Pot Roast of Beef, or Pasta Monegasque, activities for the evening will include the announcing of the 2011 SCSC Board, the annual Awards program and three exciting slide shows: “The Wrong Side of the Bed”, and the “3D Comics Show” both presented in anaglyph, and a polarized presentation of Los Angeles architecture of the 1950′s and 1960′s as photographed by noted 3D architectural photographer and long-time SCSC member Jack Laxer! And, not to be missed, the Image of the Year award will be presented following a slide show of all of this year’s IOY entries.
Arrivals start at 7:00 pm and dinner will be served at 8. (We recommend being there by 7:30 pm so you can mingle with SCSC members before dinner). Tickets for the banquet are $30 per person until August 1st and $35 afterwards. You can purchase tickets online via PayPal.
