Date: Thursday, December 16, 2010

Mark your calendars now for the annual LA 3D Club Holiday Banquet, to be held December 16, 2010 (the third Thursday), at Taix Restaurant in Silver Lake. We had such a positive response over the menu selections at the August Awards Banquet that we will offer the same selections again. These are Coq au Vin, Pot Roast of Beef, and Pasta Monegasque, each with a salad course and ice cream dessert. The main feature of the evening’s 3D program will be three fabulous shows by renowned NSA favorite John Hart of Colorado, who will also be in attendance.

HI. I Just wanted to alert you to a stereographic and accessories I will be putting up for sale on Ebay. It is a beautiful classic camera – either for your photographic use or to be added to your classic camera collection.

Please alert your membership to this and feel free to call me with questions.

Here is the add for Ebay: It will be posted late tonight.

STEREO CAMERA, VINTAGE, AND ALL accessories

Rietzschel Stereo Camera, film holders, glass slide viewer, camera case, and 2 boxes of exposed and developed glass slides probably taken before WW I. Compur lens (DRP no 258646 drom). One box of glass slides is marked “Rothenberg” the other is not marked but looks like vacation pictures with Palm trees. The leather case is well-used (about 100 years old) and is written inside “Dr. Dorfler” and the name of a German town I cannot translate.

This is a beautiful camera, including the family photos on glass slides and would be perfect for your classic camera collection. I will be sad to part with it, but must down-size before going into assisted living. I bought it, fully expecting to use it, but never got around to it so I don’t know if it works.

    Thanks,
    Leeanne Schmidt
