Club Outing: IMAX 3-D Double Feature Saturday 5/3/14

Island of the Lemurs: Madagascar 3D “takes audiences on a spectacular journey to the remote and wondrous world of Madagascar. Lemurs arrived in Madagascar as castaways millions of years ago and evolved into hundreds of diverse species but are now highly endangered. Join trailblazing scientist Dr. Patricia Wright on her lifelong mission to help these strange and adorable creatures survive in the modern world.”

Flight of the Butterflies 3D is a “breathtaking film takes viewers on a journey that spans thousands of miles, three countries and several generations — tracking real monarch butterflies that leave Canada for their mysterious Mexican winter haven. Also, this film was the Grand Prize winner at the 10th Annual LA 3-D Movie Festival in December 2013. It will only be playing in the IMAX theater for a couple more months, so if you haven’t seen it or would like to enjoy it one more time, please join us on this outing.

We plan to meet in front of the IMAX theater at 4:00pm to purchase tickets. Both films run approximately 45 minutes.
