There are three 3-D IMAX films (THE ULTIMATE WAVE TAHITI: 3D, HUBBLE 3D, MUMMIES 3D: SECRETS OF THE PHARAOHS) playing at the California Science Center. They are only playing there for a few more weeks, so let’s get a group together to see them before they leave the theater. Read on for all of the details.
10:30am THE ULTIMATE WAVE TAHITI: 3D
Featuring nine-time world surfing champion Kelly Slater, The Ultimate Wave Tahiti 3D will immerse audiences in the story of an ocean wave and the lives it impacts and transforms.
11:30am HUBBLE 3D
Experience the gripping story – full of hope, crushing disappointment, dazzling ingenuity, bravery, and triumph – in Hubble 3D, the seventh awe-inspiring film from the award-winning IMAX® Space Team.
12:30pm MUMMIES 3D: SECRETS OF THE PHARAOHS
Journey to the royal tombs of Egypt and explore the history of ancient Egyptian society as told through the mummies of the past.
Each film is ~45 minutes in length. For anyone interested, we can find a local eatery for lunch when the movies are finished.
How much does it cost? There are various options, including a group discount for15 or more people. However, the BEST option is the multi-show discount prices, which you get for purchasing tickets for two ($12.75) or all three ($17.50) movies. These tickets can only be purchased on-site.

Parking at Exposition Park is $8 per car (cash only).
